By Giacomo Pizzi | Project Leader
During the past weeks Ana and Gabriella, two Pro Terra Sancta fundraising collaborators, have been in Aleppo and visited our “A name a future” centres.
This mission allowed them to get to know the many children and young mothers who come to our centers every day and, one small piece at a time, try to change their destiny, which seems marked by misery.
Ana and Gabriella tell us about an experience that marked them most of all: getting on the “minibus of life” that picks up street children every day and gives them the chance to learn to read, write, count and fantasize.
"Perceiving the desire to learn in the eyes of these children filled me with emotion. I returned to Italy even more convinced of the validity of this project and eager to make this initiative known more and more!" Says Gabriella.
We thank you for the invaluable support you have given us over the years and which has enabled us to continue to bet on the education of those who seem to have no future!
