We wanted to update you on our regular winter food aid program. At one distribution event AIL gave out 120 food-kits to the poor. These families were struggling and starving in cold weather in early winter. Each food-kit contained rice, cooking oil, peas, kidney beans and tomato paste. Poor people are referred to AIL office for this assistance. Many are unemployed but even those with some work find it hard to make ends meet. Some recipients have jobs as night guards and drivers.
We have still working to aid the victims of the recent floods we reported on last time.
Thank you for your support.
