Introduction
Based in a farming village in one of the hardest to reach areas of Zimbabwe. The local Clinic was constructed around 1970. With a population of over 5000 people around the community, the clinic is facing serious challenges in terms of service delivery.
Report
The clinic is critically underfunded. Medical staff are funded by the local government but there is no funding available for the clinic. The local community is a farming community in extreme poverty and as a result items have been stolen. The clinic needs furniture, more beds on the labour ward, a huge paint and clean up, toilets need fixing and new solar panels that was stolen need to be replaced with anti theft equipment installed. We have raised $625 so far.
