Dear Supporters.
We raised around $600 over the past 3 months and these funds have gone directly to our medical centre to fund essential medication needed for pregnant women within the community. Last year somebody stole the solar panels from the medical centre which means we nolonger have power to the centre, we lost all our medication that needs to be kept cold and this has put our centre on the back foot but your support has really helped us get new medication delivered to the centre.
We hope to raise more over the next 3 months and then our priorities will include to pain the whole centre as the paint is falling off the walls which makes ensuing the centre is clean much more difficult, we also have around 60 pregnant women expecting over the next 3-6 months and currently our maternity ward beds have no sheets, pillow, blankets or equipment needed. We also only have 4 beds so we have an urgent need to increase this ward and purchase more materials as our medical centre is the only medical support for over 50km's from the community.
We currently support just over 6,000 community members in this rural area of Zimbabwe
