Dear Supporters,
Over the past three months, we have raised approximately $600. These funds have been used directly at our medical center to provide essential medication for pregnant women in our community. However, donations have been slow recently, and we are facing some challenges.
Last year, our medical center suffered a setback when our solar panels were stolen, resulting in the loss of all our refrigerated medication. Your support has been invaluable in helping us replenish our supplies.
Looking ahead, we have several urgent needs. Our medical center, which is the only source of medical support for over 50km, serves more than 6,000 community members in this rural area of Zimbabwe. We currently have around 60 pregnant women expecting over the next 3-6 months. Unfortunately, our maternity ward is under-equipped, with only four beds and no sheets, pillows, blankets or other necessary equipment.
In addition to this, the paint on the walls of our center is peeling off, making it difficult to maintain cleanliness. We hope to raise more funds over the next three months to address these issues.
We kindly ask for your continued support. Every dollar donated will go towards improving conditions at our medical center and providing much-needed care for our community. Your contributions can help us purchase blankets, towels, and bedding for the maternity ward and expand its capacity.
Thank you for your generosity and ongoing support.
