Hello Supporters,
Remember or update at that start of 2023 about someone stealing our solar power from the community surgery. Because of this we have not been able to store medication at our centre for almost a year, donations that came in last year focused on funding the upgrade of our birthing centre as we needed new matresses, blankets, pillows as we had nothing. We also had a shortage of beds and so over the past few months we have been able to fund increasing the ward from 6 - 10, which is already full of patients awating to give birth.
We also are hopeful of a donation for our surgery of 6 solar panels that will get up back online, with this donation we will be able to have the lights back on, power our computer. Due to the 10 months of not being plugged in our medicine fridge has also broken therefore we now are actively fundraising for a new fridge so that we can begin storing medication again at the surgery and respond to more medical emergencies.
We are the only surgery in 150Kms for our villagers and so the more we can store the more lives we can save.
Thank You for supporting our clinic
