Hello Again,
It's been a slow start to this project and we have only raised just over $1,500 since we begain. Looking at this we feel we are not going to hit our goal anytime soon for this clinic full refurbishment, it is still critical to us and we will continue to support this clinic as much as we can in this community but for now we need to think out the box.
This comes to our new initiative where we will be using these funds to cover transport for the medical team to visit people in their homes. Moving to outreach will free up some more space for the over stretched maternity ward and help with admissions, we still have a lot of painting to do to tidy up the surgery but this is our lowest priority and for now we are focused on funding more beds (ideally 10 more), blankets and towels for the maternity team and funds to cover the bus costs for the outreach team.
We hope this will keep our services at their best for our community while we seek further support
