AHAVA Safe House for Child Survivors in Mexico

Dear friend, again it is a pleasure on behalf of everyone at Ahava House team, to share with you the updates of the work of this period that continues to be an initial stage, full of challenges but with the help and encouragement of many people like you, we have been able to attend.

During this quarter, we continued with the restoration work of the areas that are already enabled and we conditioned the space corresponding to the Ahava House office, with a desk, chair and other elements that allow us to carry out part of the administrative work that the house implies.

On the other hand, a space was also set up inside the house to receive a young pregnant survivor. During the last month the house received this beautiful newborn baby, which has filled everyone with great joy.

As you can see, we have continued with the restoration and renovation work on the building, however, we still have equipment needs. Despite this, for now we have a pleasant work space in which different needs of the small survivors are attended to, among other administrative procedures.

Finally, thanks to your contributions, we have been able to provide each survivor with all essential services such as food, clothing, and personal hygiene items. In the same sense, support has been provided with the payment of the necessary per diem for proceedings and specialized care for monitoring legal cases but also monitoring medical care needs.

Before finishing, we want to give you the news that we had the first Christmas at Ahava House, this season the little ones spent an important time in which they received details and special gifts for each of them, this means a lot to us, as long as you know that you are part of the beginning of something important in the lives of others, thanks to your valuable donation.
