As you read this, kids are already settling into their classrooms for the beginning of a new year. Since the pandemic is not over yet, the year is starting out with serious concerns, and we are so grateful to the communities of parents and teachers working to keep children safe while at the same time inspiring a love for education. However, it is an exciting time of the year. The school is so important for children who have every odd stacked against them. No internet and electronics for online classes. Not enough food. But we know we can do something about it.

Through our Recovery and Rebuild Program, thanks to your donations, we continue to receive tons of food every week, allowing us to continue our support for the indigenous communities in the Mara and Guajira Region. The program has been extended to schools, giving children the opportunity to have one daily serving of food high in nutrients to maintain overall health and development. With distribution to 47 communities, 40 schools, 10 institutions and 8 nonprofit organizations, we are currently serving over 5,800 people per week. Our food program has been active since the Covid-19 pandemic started, and as of now has helped feed over 62,000 people and served more than 1,800,000 meals. This extremely needed program has been successful in helping to reduce cases of malnutrition exponentially.

The health assistance campaign continues, reaching those in need in different states in Venezuela. There are so many people who need the assistance, so we are working to expand this aid. This program delivers prescription and over-the-counter medicines, nutritional supplements, wound care supplies and hospital supplies. With the support of our donors, we have provided medicines and supplies to 34 Communities, 31 Health Institutions and 56 Nonprofit Organizations, benefiting to date over 80,000 people.

Thanks to your donation and support, we make sure that less privileged children get food to eat and have access to fresh water. Your support greatly adds up to this, it has enabled us to make tremendous accomplishments during the last 3 months, providing nutrient-rich food, nutritional guidance, and access to education, while promoting environmental sustainable practices. Your donation gives a boost to our programs to help reduce levels of poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, marginalization, and exclusion for children and young people.

Without your help, this would be hard for us to accomplish. So, we once again thank you so much for your continued support!
