For the past one year since our founding as step up 4 Autism therapy center,we have been able to not only learn a lot about the Kenyan population but also to understand them and their key challenges.Among the most traumatic is the burden of a child living with autism.
Many a times the parents of children with autism are put between a rock and a hard place.They are expected to be there for the child with autism while at the same time to keep the rest of the family happy.
The work we do in the slum of mathare in Nairobi Kenya is great,we offer free therapy services for children with autism and economic empowerment for their parents.
All this is possible through the monthly and random donations that you make to our project from time to time.Through your effort we are able to touch 15 lives per week as we deliver the therapy services.
