AVP WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS

By Leila Micheline BUTOYI | Peace and Communication Officer

The Alternatives to Violence Program (AVP) is a training equiping participants with constructive approaches to handling violent conflict without causing others. Students in Rwanda need such training since they endure a variety of violent conflicts in their schools or back in the community.

The initial plan was to deliver Alternative to Violence training in 300 secondary school students in order to find remedy for violence among students. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to take action in relation to the project since there isn't enough funding. We are hoping for donation for this new year in order to implement this this initiative.
