Dear Friends of Universal Promise:
Greetings. I hope you're all doing well. I wish I had better news to report on our project to purchase a bank safe to secure the dozens of laptops we have in-hand and wish to deliver to our partner-schools in South Africa. Unfortunately, we are yet to receive our first donation for this cause. While the safe is not an emotionally compelling project - one that pulls at heartstrings - it is imperative that we raise the money to ensure rural South African children may take their rightful places at all levels of schooling.
These safes allow us to feel confident that the school will be able to protect the technology. We all need these laptops to last a long time, and security measures permit that to happen.
We hope you will consider making a donation to this cause and be willing to spread the word. If the children in rural South Africa are to have a fighting chance, they must have their hands on this technology as soon as possible, and we would be grateful for your generosity.
