Celebrating Our Donors and Looking Ahead to 2025
In 2024, WAFA – Water Air and Food Awards energized nine generous donors and
successfully raised $1,115 through the GlobalGiving platform. We are especially delighted to
welcome five new donors who joined our mission this year. Your contributions have been
instrumental in supporting grassroots solutions that tackle some of the world’s most
pressing environmental and food security challenges.
Through the generous support of our donors, we have continued our mission of recognizing
and empowering unsung heroes—local innovators who are addressing water, air, and food
sustainability at the grassroots level. These contributions have helped us provide visibility,
mentorship, and networking opportunities to changemakers who are making a tangible
impact in their communities.
2025: A Landmark Year for WAFA
As we move into 2025, WAFA is gearing up for a significant milestone—the return of our
prestigious award ceremonies! With the call for applications already open, we anticipate an
exciting year ahead, with increased engagement across our channels. This will not only
provide well-deserved recognition to innovative projects but also amplify their impact by
connecting them with a broader network of support.
Our award ceremonies, which celebrate sustainable solutions across different regions, will
serve as a platform to bring together global changemakers, industry leaders, and donors
who are passionate about environmental conservation and food security. Through these
events, we aim to raise awareness, generate new partnerships, and secure additional
funding to expand our outreach and support for impactful projects worldwide.
