Blankets are a sense of security for children — a way to help them work through the tears of an emotional moment, and to handle those tough transitions that they need extra support with. With that blanket in tow, they are (according to science!) “less shy and more focused than children who don’t have one.”
That is why every Comfort Case includes a blanket. The book? Well, Reading is the secret to inculcating knowledge that can help a person through difficult choices in life and expand their imaginative skills largely.
This year, between January and April, Comfort Cases has assembled and distributed nearly 8,000 Comfort Cases. Your support made that possible!
Can you just imagine the "blankie" being loved by a child entering foster care? Can you just imagine a child settling into their bedtime as they read a book that YOU helped provide?
You should really know just how important you are to Comfort Cases, and how life-changing your generosity is to a child who needs dignity and love during a pivotal time in their life.
Thank you again for all that you do.
Sincerely,
Rob Scheer, Founder
