The long rainy season is almost over. Permits have been submitted and the first round of signatures have been obtained. Once the permits have been finalized, we are prepared to begin construction on the borehole project. We are looking forward to having access to fresh water near our farmland. The irrigation system will transform the quantity, quality, and diversity of crops we can plant and grow. The anticipated greater yield will move the community that Harvesters serves closer to sustainability.
The remaining funding needed for the project will allow for the equipment to be maintained long-term and provide the ability for Harvesters to obtain necessary irrigation supplies to ensure crops are properly cultivated and watered.
We appreciate your faithful support of the project and the mission of Harvesters.
