Children and young people from rural communities with which we work are participating in the ecological education process. They have been told about the importance of water for our lives and for all beings on the planet. Water sources must be prevented from becoming contaminated; Therefore, in our families, in our schools we must collect and recycle garbage, waste, classifying them according to their origin.
Since 90% of children and young people have parents who work in coal mines or are doing it themselves, we are activating a radio campaign with them to report diseases and dangers to the environment caused by coal exploitation. Burning of trees must be prohibited and mine waste must be properly managed so that it does not continue to harm the health of miners and their families.
