Farmer children and children from mining families are exposed to a lot of abuse from the adults around them. Sexual and psychological violence is a common phenomenon in these regions where many children have lost their parents due to accidents in coal mines and live in a state of lack of protection and loneliness. Through our workshops we are teaching them to care for and respect their bodies, to know that they have the right to say NO and to report the abuses the adults want to commit against them.
So that children take more ownership of this right, we created a play with them called "Tere's Book" which was recorded on video.
