After producing 20 globally broadcast episodes focusing on the future of boys since 2021, we have identified key obstacles on boys' journeys to positive and healthy manhood. Globally, 1 in 4 boys experiences physical violence by age 17 (UNICEF), and prevailing norms of toxic masculinity are linked to increased aggression and mental health challenges.
The BFBC Summit addresses these issues across diverse areas: Positive and Mature Masculinity, Leadership and Technology, Environmental Awareness, Artistic Expression, Sports and Fitness, Health and Wellness, and Financial Literacy. Our summit will provide free conflict resolution workshops in schools and community centers, utilizing the BMAN Conflict Resolution Workbook and interactive role-plays. We will also train older students to mentor peers and lead ongoing peace-building initiatives.
