Suresh and Sarita, our team at Healing Together Nepal, recently completed a series of Healing Advocacy trainings in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, in the southeast region of Nepal. They trained over 200 teachers from over 90 schools across 8 trainings! These teachers each work with around 50 students, meaning that their work in Dharan will impact over 10,000 people.
After one of the recent workshops in Dharan, an educator and participant wrote and shared a poem of gratitude for the experience:
'Healing gave the opportunity to
unfold the pain of the heart.
Healing gave the opportunity to
dry the wound.
Living the beautiful life,
keeping high motivation.
Healing gave the opportunity to
bend the wrong deeds.'
Amidst all these trainings, Suresh continued advocating to end child sexual violence, traveling to the UK this March for an international conference as a founding member of the Brave Movement, and to Thailand in April to speak at the Asia Pacific Learning Symposium. Suresh continues to receive incredible feedback for his advocacy work across the globe!
With your continued support, we're able to continue this vital work. Thank you so much!
