Slow progress on fundraising

Dear supporters,

It has been a slow few months for fundraising, and our goal of a long-term trial of the telehealth hub for rural communities in Tanzania is still a long way from being realised. Therefore, your support is essential in order to make the long-term trial a reality.

We have had a lot of interest from other health NGOs and businesses looking to support this project as part of their CSR. This has really reiterated our belief that this project is one that is worth investing in, and we're continuing to expand our fundraising sources.

Whilst we haven’t been able to launch a long-term trial, your donations will still be used to provide essential healthcare equipment to hospitals across the Simanjiro region, which are still recovering after COVID-19. The support has been greatly appreciated thus far, and have provided essential resources to rural hospitals. We are eager to continue to provide this support for more hospitals, and your support will make this possible!

We are continuing to conduct joint community-led projects in partnership with OMASI, our local NGO partner in Tanzania. Throughout the impact analysis process for our projects in Northern Tanzania, there was a strong emphasis on the need for improved healthcare services by community members, and specific requests for Telehealth to be a permanent service available in their villages.  With your support, we hope that our Telehealth trial can be widely implemented within the communities we work with and beyond.

We greatly appreciate the support of the project so far- thank you for taking the time to read this report and please continue to support this very impactful project. If you would like to share this report within your network and on social media, your support in raising awareness would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,

Iona
