MWL’s key programmatic interventions on improving access and quality of education by:

  • Provision stationery kits for 150 students while the kit embedded (notebooks number 4- color pens number2 - pencil pens number 2- an eraser number 1- ruler number 1- Pencil case number 1)
  • Provision kits for 7 teachers included A4 papers- plastic bag number 1- pens- whiteboard pens- attendance notebooks number 3)
  • In terms of integrating education interventions with protection, skills and recreational activities were conducted with children once every week in the child-friendly spaces (CFS).Also, awarness sessions were delivered about Covid-19 and personal sanitations.

We ensured that children who have missed out on years of education to catch up to their peers and re-integrate into the formal education system. Alternative learning programmes for out of school children such as the Self Learning Programme serves to transition children with no access to formal education back into the education system. The provision of essential learning materials serves to address the critical lack of education supplies and addressing economic barriers of parents for sending their children to school.
