...We are close to the children we support thanks to you!
STAYING IN TOUCH, LEARNING GREEK ONLINE AND MUCH MORE
Research shows that lockdown isolation can particularly affect young people. They might be feeling lonely from being separated from their peers, even more so those children and minors growing up in difficult circumstances. Thanks to our donors and volunteers we have been able to insure internet access and online lessons of Greek and English language to over 20 children. In addition to studying, the children assisted have been supported by the volunteers with activities and games to build their confidence, develop positive connections and cope with change while having fun.
“I’ve been inspired to help young children learn Greek and to build a friendship that I’m sure will last a lifetime. The satisfaction of giving is really special and I’m just grateful for the opportunity to do something good in my life. This has brought a lot of happiness into my life.” Chris, volunteer at Crete For Life
