We are delighted to let you know that the Greek language lessons continue with impactful results, albeit for a few students. For example, both brother and sister A. and J. from Afghanistan have become so fluent in Greek that they have no problem following the standard curriculum in their local school, with excellent results.
Group lessons are naturally less effective than individual ones, especially for the younger students. For this reason, we are focusing on a few students who are running far behind with their education. However complex the Greek language is, the commitment of each of the students is admirable, and all of them report that they love the lessons and look forward to improving their skills. The teachers, who are all Greek university students, are also pleased and proud to work with them and appreciate the possibility of earning a little bit with the lessons.
These online lessons are helping to transform the lives of the displaced and those around them. Your support is vital to continuing this program and reaching out to more students. Thank you, Olimpia.
