We have a record number of scholarship students this year - 56 - and when we have our monthly student meetings they almost fill up our patio space! As you can see in the photos, we have an awning but it's not big enough to provide shade for all of the students. Nicaragua is very hot when the sun is shining and shade is important.
The students like to use the patio for their community service projects instead of the small library in the office building, but they have to be concerned with finding shade.
The auditorium will solve these problems, as we will have a wonderful space for meetings and community service projects, as well as an income source because we can rent the auditorium when the Fundación isn't using it.
