Building a Home for the Torres Family in Mexico

The Torres Cedillo home is finally on the last stage! The volunteer efforts were a success! Over 50 students joined forces for a three day effort and build the first stage of the new home! They had the best time with the family and emotions were on the very high! The students could really experience a volunteer effort and could see first hand what their time can achieve. The Torres family was extremely grateful and did the cooking for all the supporters! It was a weekend full of love and unity! Now our professional team will be staying for three more weeks to finish the home and do the final and professional touches! We'll keep you posted ! Thank you!

The Torres Family is preparing everything to build a new home! They have worked hard to prepare their land and organize their calendar to recieve 40 volunteers in January 25 ,26th and 27th. Volunteers from different parts of Mexico are going to arrive to Ocuilan for the weekend and build the Torres family's dream house.

With the money raised until now, we have been able to buy almost all the materials required to build a 46 square meters house. In the office we have been working hard to organize the volunteer efforts, buy all the materials needed and support the Torres family in this process.
