The younger children in our Center (aged 2-5) are working with the so-called Montessori method. This includes sorting, scooping, matching and tweezer activities and also beginning language and math materials. The Montessori method is designed specifically for children who have special needs, and that is why it helps us a lot since we work with children who have autism, cerebral palsy and ADD.
At Cetap Lucy, the children work once or twice a week with a Montessori teacher from Canada. They look forward to their "special time" and their knowledge, understanding and ability to concentrate is blossoming!
We are very grateful for your valuable support and everyone else who has contributed as volunteers and helped to fund and start to use the Montessori method at our Center.
