Empowering Adults with Disabilities in Texas

Choice Living Community has finally moved into a new and biger center. We are still working on adding clients to our new center. We have been able to get some supplies for each of our seven rooms and our full kitchen. We have 7 clients and have 5 applications our for new clients. 

We now have 3 vounteers that are helping us grow our program. We have started to initiate more monthly events that will help bring in donations. We are still in need of client sponsorships for those clients needing services but not being able to afford our monthly fees. 

We are continuing to work towards our residential side of our programming so that those adutls will also have a place to live as independently as possible.

Choice Living Community has been working hard to build our program for adults with disabilities. We have secured and moved into a new 11,000 square foot facility that was fully renovated for our needs. 

We currently have 6 part-time clients that we are servicing and are expecting three full-time clients to start next. We are continuing to work on our marketing plan to get the word out about our program and assist those adults with disabilities that need a place to go during the day. 

Fundraising is still slow due to Covid and our in-person fundraising events have not done well. We are continuing to fundraise online as we navigate this pandemic.

We have partnered this year with the Marines and Toys for Tots to assist them in gathering and distributing toys for children. This event will allow our clients to be involved in a special community project!
