Christmas Party Report

By Mahran Al-Tawil | Director of Programs and Development

Dear friends and supporters of BASR,

Thank you for filling our holiday season with warmth and joy!

With the help of your kind donations, Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation was able to hold a Christmas party for its hospitalized children. The party started with activities by the clowns to engage the children and their mothers. It was a celebration that involved different activities including music, dancing and games. These activities are regarded as a useful technique for assisting children in lowering their stress levels and aiding in their recovery. They are also effective in promoting more positive attitudes and behaviors.

The children and their mothers were also visited by Santa Clause who distributed gifts to the children. These gifts were selected by our specialists based on their age, disability and interests. The chosen gifts were not only fun and for the purpose of entertainment, but they also aimed at helping children develop specific skills and abilities in a way that is exciting and not overwhelming for them.

This support was also used to provide hospitality snacks, including baked treats, Christmas chocolate and drinks.

Thank you for thinking of our children and their mothers and for making this day happen. We are grateful for your continuous support.
