Dear Friends,
There is so much talent and hope among the children in the Rohingya camps, and numerous reasons to believe in the incredible progress that Social Circus activities can bring to them. MMCC has just celebrated the first graduation ceremony for the young artists from our initial pilot project, which introduced Social Circus in Bangladesh. These young performers captivated the audience and amazed the official guests with their skills. They are now prepared to spread hope, joy, and fun to thousands of other children in their communities, where nearly a million refugees live in densely packed camps with minimal facilities.
This initial phase of introduction and capacity building was sponsored by CISU (from Denmark) in collaboration with our local partner organization KOINONIA in Bangladesh. The project began with a short workshop, followed by weekly online supervision. After weeks of regular rehearsals in three refugee camps, the young artists performed 18 shows.
With the generous support of GlobalGiving's Refugee Relief Fund, we are continuing the activities and keeping the momentum. Now without any additional support, we rely on our network of private donors like you to cover the essential costs of sustaining and expanding these teams and continuing these vital activities.
Thank you for your contribution
