From January to December 2023, we distributed a total of 4,230 improved Jumbo stoves to families in rural communities of Zambia. The distributed Jumbo stoves went on to impact 25,380 lives directly, reduced the cutting of trees, and avoided over 16,920 tons of CO2 emissions!
The improved clean cookstoves saved families $304,560 in fuel purchases and over $500,000 in health costs caused due smoke from unclean sources of cooking fuels.
These figures are a sign that improved clean cookstoves continue to change lives and communities in Zambia and beyond.
