Project Report | Nov 1, 2022
Learning together!

By Federico Diaz Marino | Project Manager

We are happy to report that during 2022, 7 communities have adopted Learning at Home - HIPPY Program!

For this purpose, during the first months of the year, a link was established with institutions in each community. Unlike the two previous years, the current sanitary situation and the new governmental measures enabled face-to-face meetings. A launch was held in each community.

The first step was to contact community leaders and agree on the age group to work with, and then to select the families. After the launching of the program, the regular monthly work in each institution has consisted of
individual meetings between home visitors (tutors) and parents, and a monthly group meeting in each community.

In June, we received a visit from Agostina Mattioli, National Coordinator of the Program, who was able to meet with the Support Managers and to visit some of the communities and households.

During July, we worked on a mid-term evaluation of all the communities, assessing the progress of the
evaluating the progress of the families and homes.

The interest and commitment of the families to the program is highlighted, in permanent contact with their Support Manager, who follows up according to specific strategies planned according to the reality of each of the communities.
In Horco Molle and Nueva Esperanza, returning to the original spirit of the program, with individual home visits, has improved the quality of the program.

In the Calchaquí Valleys, the program has had a great impact, currently accompanying 57 families in the communities of Los Zazos families in the communities of Los Zazos and Quilmes, where the program is implemented in articulation with the school

The program is implemented in articulation with the school institution, but little by little with an approach to each family's home.

In the institutions of Los Vázquez and Juan XXIII there has been a great impact in the last few months.
