Quarterly Report- IRAQI CHILDREN WITH CANCER

By Qassim H Alowaid | President

We are pleased to share with you the progress and activities of Iraq Children's Hope over the past three months. Thanks to your generous support, our organization has been able to provide essential medical, nutritional, educational, and emotional assistance to children with cancer and their families.

Key Accomplishments:

  • Medical Support:
    • Two children successfully underwent PET scans, a crucial step in diagnosing and monitoring cancer.
    • Two other children received CT scans, supporting their treatment and care plans.
    • Nine children were provided with antifungal medications, helping them combat dangerous infections associated with cancer treatment.
  • Nutritional Support:
    • Seven children received healthy food packages, contributing to their strength and resilience during treatment.
  • Educational and Psychological Support:
    • Seventeen children received books to encourage learning and offer mental stimulation during difficult times.
    • A recreational visit to the cancer center was organized, where children participated in joyful activities and were presented with gifts, bringing smiles and moments of relief to their lives.

These efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting children with cancer and their families during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.

Looking Ahead

We remain dedicated to our mission of bringing hope and care to Iraq's most vulnerable children. With your continued support, we will expand our outreach, improve access to critical care, and enhance the quality of life for more children in need.

On behalf of every child and family you’ve touched through your support, thank you.
