Being handicapable can feel for some like they have no options in life. Being given a wheelchair is not just an act of mobility, what represents freedom, choice and help.
Your generosity is truly transforming lives. We have a dream here at Dawood Global Foundation - Educate A Girl to distribute 10,000 wheelchairs across Pakistan.
Thanks to your generosity and that of others, we have already distributed 1,500 and are well on our way to distribute more.
Ali, 56, has never really been outside of the house he shares with his wife and 3 children, as well as his two brothers and their children. having no use of his legs he has been fully dependent his entire life on his family to provide for him. He often not only feels emasculated but like he's living a life without purpose. Receiving his own personal wheelchair gave him the ability for the very first time in his life to move around. And move around without depending on anyone else.
He not only no moves around his house but he's able to move around his neighborhood, look at local shops, meet with his neighbors, and be a part of his community.
Thank you for this.
