Each person who is immobile is vulnerable. It is our responsibility as those of means to ensure the safety, care and healthy self esteem for those who are dependent on us. With each wheelchair we distribute, whether to a hospital or an individual, we see lives change. Mobility means movement and movement means freedom as its most basic. And we humans are meant to be free to choose and free to move.

Just like a caged bird, once it’s set free there is initially confusion before flight. Similarly, when someone immobile sits in a wheelchair for the first time, he or she feels disorientated, doubtful and then hesitant. Only after a good several minutes, do they feel free and empowered.

We have requisitions for 9460 more wheelchairs needed throughout Pakistan. Thank you for contributing yo these 540 and we welcome more donation from you.
