Childhood Development Program
GlobalGiving - Interim Report
This short holiday period marks the end of the second term and the beginning of the third and
final term of the year. It’s also an opportunity to demonstrate how early childhood development
(ECD) continues to spark positive change and lay the groundwork for long-term growth in the
lives of the 106 children who attend our program daily. These children come from rural and
disadvantaged backgrounds, and for them, access to education is a powerful source of hope. In
just a few months, around forty children in their final year will graduate from the ECD program
and transition into primary school, while forty new three-year-olds will join the program.
Our objective is to deliver an early childhood development program focused on the critical early
years of life, fostering a safe and nurturing environment that supports children in becoming
happy, self-reliant, and contributing members of society. The program is built around five core
pillars—learning, protection, nutrition, hygiene and sanitation, and health—ensuring a holistic
approach to promoting the well-being and healthy development of young children.
Donor support remains essential to the continued improvement of our services, particularly in
strengthening infrastructure, expanding staffing capacity, and providing necessary learning
materials. These contributions directly enhance the quality of education we can offer. By
supporting this initiative, donors are helping to build a solid foundation for a brighter future,
giving children the opportunity to overcome the barriers of poverty and reach their full potential.
