of cellIn Panama classes started on March 2 and were suspended on March 11 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Thanks to our subscription to the Google for Education platform, we were able to adapt and train the students to start the digital classes, which started on March 23. This is a great achievement.
Students do not have computers but use cell phones and free Wi-Fi offered by the government in the Curundu neighborhood. Not all of them had cell phones but we are collecting donated used cell phones for them.
Our school building is closed and so is the kitchen and dining room, but now that most families in Curundu cannot work and there is no food, every week we are bringing bags of food to our students' homes and to many other needed homes in the community.
Thank you for your support that allows us to continue educating young people from poor and vulnerable families.
