Hello, my friend and dear supporter of the Heya Masr Educate to Empower project. I am happy to report on and share with you a quick summary of our achievements in Q2 2023.
Thank you for your contributions. Without your support, we couldn't do it. Here is a summer of activities:
Heya Masr has made significant strides in empowering communities through its impactful programs and partnerships. Some notable achievements include:
In Peron programs:
Graduated parent sessions in Manshiat Nasser, benefiting 28 mothers through a new partnership to strengthen family dynamics and parenting skills.
- Implemented the acclaimed Heya Masr Hayati program with an additional 120 children across multiple locations: Masr Alnahrda (30 children), Alwaraak (30 children), Ehlm Htwsl in Ezbat Elwalda, Helwan (30 children), Manshiat Nasser, Cairo (30 children), and Kheer W Rahma, Helwan (30 children). This program focuses on personal growth, self-confidence, and life skills for children.
- Introduced the Hayati program to new communities, reaching 30 children in Msakn Elzlzal, Mokattem, and 30 children in Ezbat Alwalda, Helwan, expanding the program's impact.
- Provided the Hayatna parents' sessions in Almosanda W Alrtkaa and Ehlm Htwsal, equipping parents with essential skills to support their children's development.
- In a groundbreaking collaboration with the NBA, 15 girls from Heya Masr's classes had the opportunity to attend a live basketball game in Cairo, Egypt, fostering their interest in sports and personal growth.
- Conducted child protection policy training for four teams of educators in Kheer W Rahma, Almosanda w Elrtakaa, Masr Alnahrda, and Ehlm htwsl, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
- Celebrated the graduation of 15 Helwan University students from the fieldwork internship program, recognizing their commitment to community service and professional development.
- Hosted graduation ceremonies for girls' classes in Ehlm Htwsl, Helwan, and parents' classes in Ehlm Htwsl, Helwan, and Masr Alnahrda in Alwarak, acknowledging their journey and achievements.
- We marked milestones with the graduation of 16 teenagers and 13 girls from the Kheer W Rahma Foundation and the boys' graduation in Almosanda W elrtkaa in Msakn Elzelzal.
- Provided a Hayatna program session on communication skills for combating bullying, addressing a critical issue, and promoting healthy relationships.
- Celebrated International Women's Day by participating in an event organized by Rotaract Heliopolis, where Heya Masr highlighted the fruitful impact of its programs on women, children, and society.
- These accomplishments showcased Heya Masr's unwavering commitment to creating positive change, empowering individuals, and building stronger communities through education, personal development, and community engagement.

Heya Masr Q1 2023 Educate to Empower

Hello, my friend and dear supporter of the Heya Masr Educate to Empower project. I am happy to report on and share with you a quick summary of our achievements in Q1 2023. Thank you for your contributions. Without your support, we couldn't do it. Here is a summer of activities:
- Conducted three parent sessions in Manshiat Nasser with a new partner, benefiting 28 mothers.
- Heya Masr provided our Hayati children program to 67 children in Establ Antr community school, 30 children in Makom-Helwan, 15 children in the Ersm Helmk association, 15 children in Bezra, 30 children in Alshark Alawsat, and 60 children in Al Salam Elagtmaay. A total of 202 boys and girls
- Heya Masr signed a contract with Al Salam Algtmaay to implement Heya Masr programs benefiting another 60 children and their mothers.
- Eleven children and their parents graduated from the Heya Masr program in the Al Burhan Association.
- Conducted parent sessions in Makom-Helwan, benefiting 15 parents.
- Graduated 15 patents from the Hayatna program in Ersam Helmal Association" in Kozzika.
- Graduting 15 children at the Alshark Alawsat Foundation in Almokatm.
- Graduating of 35 children in Establ Antr community school.
- Graduating of 15 children in Maakom in Helwan
- Conducted parents’ sessions in "Kheir w Rahma in Helwan, benefiting ten mothers and fathers.
- Conducted parents' sessions in the Establ Antr community school, benefiting 15 parents.
- Heya Masr partnered with MBCs Kalam Nwaam to provide programs to 45 children and parents at Establ Antr community school.
- Our founder, Moody Demetry, visited the classes and attended the graduation day in our classes in Alborhan.
- The Heya Masr team attended the graduation projects seminar of the AUC students to show that they serve Heya Masr's cause at AUC
Online Webinars:
- The journey of development and transformation of my child and how to discover my child
- How to raise my child's mental resilience.
- How can I protect my child from harassment or bullying? What to do if it already occurred
Big Thank You to MBC Kalam Nawaam programming for visiting our Heya Masr children and parenting classes to document our impact on the community. Another thank you for sponsoring more than 50 children and parents to reach with our programs to celebrate 2023 Women’s internal days.

Heya Masr Q4 2022 Educate to Empower

Hello,
I am happy to report and share with you a quick summary of our achievements in Q4 2022. Thank you for your contributions. Without your support, we couldn't do it. Here is a summer of activities:
- Graduated 100 girls who attended the Hayati Heya Masr Children Program.
- We provided 100 parents with training through our online webinars on the emotional regulations of parents, puberty education, and how to prepare for the new school year.
- Provided 90 girls with self-defense training in two locations.
- Trained Heya Masr facilitators on case management and safeguarding policies.
- Conducted parents sessions on the application of Heya Masr children's program in the Alborhan association (Hadayk Almaadi). Conducted Parenting sessions in Establ Antr community school on Parents' role in applying Heya Masr children's programs. Heya Masr partnered with AUC (Academic Community Engagement).
- Fifty Sudents from the Department of Rhetoric and Composition students work on six projects to support the Heya Masr cause. Students created six videos to serve and document Heya Masr's success stories with facilitators, partners, children, and parents.
- Traind facilitators on how to manage children aged 15–18. We started new partnerships with Alshark Alawsat, Bezra Association, Almaraa Algdida Orphanage, and Establ Antr Community School to provide 100 girls with our Hayati Children programs.
- Heya Masr provided the Heya Masr children's program to 67 children in Establ Antr community school, 30 children in Makom-Helwan, 30 children in Alborhan association, 15 children in Ersm Helmk association, 15 children in Bezra, and 30 children in Alshark Alawsat.
I encourage you to read the full report and review some of our session pictures. I also urge you to continue your support of our mission. We put 100% of every dollar toward educating those girls and boys to empower them and end all violence against children and women. The environment where they learn is made safe because of your support, so please keep pushing us forward. We are on a mission to foster mental, emotional, and physical resilience in young Egyptian children to enable them to grow into more confident and assertive individuals and citizens through a journey of educational and entertaining development, targeting girls, boys, and parents.
