Kasia’s Little Steps, Big Dreams
An update on our bright, soon to be three year old girl

Great excitement marked the beginning of Kasia’s second term at Little Legends School! The school has recently moved to the grounds of Umhlali Primary, and for Kasia, this has opened a whole new world. Each day, she watches the “big kids” in fascination—eyes wide with wonder—already imagining herself among them. Her future feels closer, more real, and full of promise!

New Routines, New Discoveries
This term also brought the introduction of daily, colour-coded T-shirts as a playful school uniform. It's more than just a cute outfit—it's a learning tool! Kasia is quickly learning her colours, with a clear favorite: bright, sunny yellow. (We suspect it matches her cheerful personality perfectly!)

Kasia’s language development is nothing short of amazing. She understands English, Zulu, and Portuguese and while her English speaking has taken off beautifully, she sometimes creates charming, untranslatable combinations of all three in her eagerness to express herself. It’s joyful, creative, and absolutely Kasia.

According to her 2024 year-end report, Kasia has made wonderful progress in everything that’s fun and engaging. At just two and a half, she’s not quite ready to sit still through story time, preferring instead to paint, explore, and play outside—and honestly, who can blame her?

Friendship and Leadership

Kasia has formed two close friendships with little boys in her class. Together, they play soccer and race up the jungle gym, full of energy and laughter. She’s already showing signs of being a natural leader—each morning, she’s greeted with excitement by her classmates. Her warmth and confidence make her a cherished part of the group.

Kasia is thriving in an environment that values creativity, connection, and curiosity. But high-quality early education comes at a cost. Your support can help ensure she continues on this beautiful path—surrounded by nurturing teachers, stimulating learning, and a strong start to her educational journey.

Your contribution, big or small, helps fund her school fees, thank you so much.
