Dear Friend, our project in Ivory Coast is going very well. The building of the kindergarten with the complex for handicapped children is almost ready. Just some final works are needed to finish the interior. All of this was possible thanks to your great help. Prof. Vincet Asse, responsible for the project in Ivory Coast is more than happy. This summer we have sent there three volunteers, Renata, Magdalena and Magda to help with the children. They made some psychological examinations of the children with disabilities, helped in preparing adequate program of education dependant on the level of their incapabilities. They introduced new educational games and what was very unusual for the children - organized a trip to the Basillica in Yamousoukro. All the children and teachers were really impressed by it. Such excurssions have a big impact on the development of the children. The more stimuli they have, the more developed and capable they will be in their future life. We have to buy some rehabilitation equippment for them, especially for the children deeply handicapped. You donated us a lot of money. Now we need just 1593 USD to finish the project.
