Dear friends, partners, and supporters,
First of all, we would like to use this occasion to wish you all and your families a safe a happy new year.
We can´t forget to thank you once again for your trust and generous donation. Since August last year, we have been structuring new projects and taking the Covid-19 pandemic time to rethink our future and improve the quality of the services we offer to our community.
We want to host more children and hire more professionals to support us and this project aims to provide us with the necessary resources to start that dream.
Unfortunately, because of local bank bureaucratic reasons and paperwork, we couldn’t monetize the donations we received yet. The donations are going to be available in our bank account in Colombia until the end of January 2021.
In the meantime, we have been looking for locations and buildings in the area around the foundation that could fit our purpose. We have three options so far that might serve.
Before confirming anything, we need to run a legal check to make sure those properties are legally documented and available to sell, in order to avoid any kinds of frauds.
It´s also important to make sure they are adequate in terms of soil quality, otherwise, we would face relevant problems in the long term.
As soon as we choose the local and receive the money, we will be able to start the planning phase.
