The following testimonials provide insights into the life-changing activities we were able to carry out during the period under review.

  • For a very long time, I wanted to go to school to acquire a high school diploma, but there was no support. I tried to find a job to support myself and my son, but unfortunately, there were no jobs. Today I am happy that Camp for Peace Liberia has introduced a vocational program, especially for women to acquire advanced skills in Agriculture to improve their living standards. Life will improve after graduating from the Camp for Peace Vocational Training Program. Through this program, I have learned to be resilient and am developing my self-esteem to make the impossible possible. Thank you, Camp for Peace, and all your supporters (Krubo).

  • I am grateful to the Camp for Peace family and all the supporters supporting this project. As a result of this project, we are witnessing a new dispensation in our community. We are beginning to see our youths changing the narrative of our community through the local-driven economic program. Through this program, our youth have gained additional respect that can be leveraged for the more remarkable development of our community. The way people look down upon our youth is no more – they are beginning to respect them due to the knowledge and skills they are acquiring. I see the shift from desperation to economic stability. I see our district as a role model for the rest of the country. I want to thank the Camp for Peace for such an initiative. I also want to thank all the supporters who donated their hard earn money to make this project successful. Had it not been for your humanitarian gesture, it would be more devastating for most of these youths. This project has provided a haven and hope for these youths. I believe this project is not only for the direct beneficiaries but will benefit the entire community because it will enhance economic stability (Ben).

  • I am a single mother, and my older son is ten years old. I have been struggling with my child and have not sent my son to school because I don't have money. We didn't have food to eat for many days, and we had to beg for food. Sometimes there was no money to buy medicine when he was sick. Sometimes no money to buy clothes for my son and me. It has been a long struggle and a lot of suffering. As a result of this, I felt that my life was meaningless. I nearly gave up many days when I would not afford anything for myself and my children. I attempted to commit suicide and escape this world at some point. Today, I am very grateful to Camp for Peace Liberia and all of you who donated your money for me to acquire training in Agriculture to establish my farm right after graduation (Lorpu).

Thanks to all of you for your support.
