“Amara Sabai” run “Shib Sankar sisu Niketan” a unique project aiming to address the need of quality education for the kids of disadvantaged group in a highly remote area of the country that is southern most part of West Bengal, called Sundarbans. Our aim is to provide with proper education like environment, infrastructure with modern technique so that the children of a distressed area get access to proper educational support for their well being. As a result we are able to stop school dropout and child labour to a great extent.
This is an ongoing project and quality education is a matter of concern and development of proper educational infrastructure as well.
We with the help of donors and well wishers trying hard to achieve target but because of resource poor community and scarcity of fund prevent us in doing so, thus we have to miles to go.
By this reporting period with other activities we are developing accommodation for the education centre and construction is still going on but slowly because of fund constraint.
Examination of the student held timely and terminal exam is going on.
Though we set up target to complete the work for which an amount of estimated Rs 22, 47,000 but the collection amount is far below the expectation. However, the work is in progress slowly but steadily.
We fervently appeal to the donor and well wishers to stand by us for the good of a distressed area for their sustainable development.
