Eitan-Everybody Can!

By Amit Netanel Kadishay | Office administrator

We are happy to report that Eitan-Everybody Can started 2024 on a great way. We are continuing to grow and expand our core-programs, supporting the disabled community in Israel Israel socio-geographic periphery. To date our teams of trainers, professionals and volunteers exceed 150 persons in over 50 locations throughout the country, and we are working with close to 600 disabled individuals.

Like many of our peers in the nonprofit sector, Eitan has harnessed its infrastructure for the benefit of the evacuees during the current crisis. We have been conducting training sessions in the major evacuation centers across Israel, serving hundreds of evacuees. Our activities were available to evacuees with or without special needs. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to help the evacuees in this difficult hour.

In addition, as part of the activities of the month of awareness for people with special abilities, on December 2, we did 'Stracher March' in memory of Noya Dan and Ruth Peretz, girls with special abilities who were massacred on the Black Sabbath of October. 150 people with and without disabilities took part in the significant and exciting event.

This past April, the annual Eitan run took place and it was a great success. This was the 6 th run since we started the tradition and each year more and more individuals participate.

We are also moving forward with plans for expansion and establishing more training teams in Israel's periphery as well as collaborating with various schools across the country.

We are also in the midst of launching our services in the Haifa region and engaging hundreds
of disabled individuals from the northern part of Israel in our activities. As more people are becoming aware of the benefits of our programs, the demand for our services is continuously growing and we are constantly looking for new partners and supporters to ensure that all Israelis with special needs are able to benefit from professional fitness training.
