One of the working holiday partners at the Vocational Training Center recently welcomed a 75-year-old man named Liu, which surprised everyone.
We were originally concerned that the work of learning to make rice mooncakes would be too tiring for Mr. Liu, so we brought a chair and suggested that he sit and assemble the boxes instead. Unexpectedly, Mr. Liu refused and said that it would be inconvenient for work. He also said that he had a working holiday in various countries in Europe, America, and Japan and that the workload and content of work at the Vocational Training Center were much easier by comparison. From his experience, we realized that Mr. Liu's vitality comes from it.
During the mooncake-making period, Mr. Liu and his partners not only quickly familiarized themselves with the busy work and established rapport, but also became good travel companions who enjoyed eating, drinking, and playing together during their free time. Mr. Liu makes the most of the opportunities available to him at the age of 75, we are amazed by his new image.
