By CASA HOGAR DE CABO SAN LUCAS, A.C. | Executive Director
Our rough and rugged trades training Instructor, Mauro went Hollywood (temporarily) for our most recent 12-week workshop.
Seeking a lighter and more social theme we selected videography. Our residents worked in small groups to brainstorm ideas, create scripts, assign roles, select costumes and ultimately record, edit and present their short film creations.
Interestingly enough the favorite theme of the participants was reenacting dynamics and experiences of the Casa Hogar family in particular staff-resident interaction.
This allowed for plenty of comedic relief for all those involved.
The videography activities were conducted throughout the property including outdoor spaces. Acting contributes to positive social relationships, self-confidence and a sense of achievement.
Congratulations to all the participants including the younger children and pre-teens who received a special invitation to contribute and learn along with the teens.
