Dear Friend,
2014 was an extremely successful year for our Boots for Kids project! For 2014, our initial goal was to deliver 1,500 pairs of boots to children in need… Instead, we’ve delivered more than 2,000 pairs of boots! 2,244 pairs of boots to be exact! In addition to these 2,244 pairs of boots, we have also delivered more than 1,000 coats to the children who had to cope with the extreme winter conditions in Turkey!
In 2014, our campaign has reached out to 40 schools in more than 10 cities. And, today, I would like to thank you for your continuing support because our success and our ever growing efforts would not have been possible if it was not for you... You, friend, have helped us to put a smile on a kid's face! So, today is your day to be proud and happy!
Today, as you look at the photos of the children who were part of our campaign in the last year; let’s remember what Winston Churchill once said: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”. So, let’s promise ourselves to make 2015 the year of giving back and social responsibility! Let's make a real difference to disadvantaged children and young people in communities across Turkey. There are thousands of children who will need support, so Bridge to Turkiye Fund (BTF) will continue to raising funds to help give disadvantaged children in Turkey a safe and warm winter in 2015 and 2016. And, for $15 dollars you, too, could support a child... For $600 dollars you could buy winter boots for all needy students in a rural village elementary school.
Thank you for sharing our goal to make a change in children's lives and to keep their feer warm in the cold; and make their hearts even warmer.
