Tangtang, a new member of Agape Children’s Home, is a cute bubbly little boy who has just arrived in this new environment, full of curiosity in everything. Like a little detective, he kept exploring wherever he went, looking here and there. Hidden in the grass close to the Children’s home, he found a praying mantis, his favorite insect, and a locust that looks like a mantis
When the teacher and other older boys were still debating whether it was a locust or a praying mantis that was found today, Tangtang was already attracted by a moving bamboo in the distance. When he got closer, he found that it was a huge stick insect. He couldn’t take his eyes off it and carefully recorded its images in his head.
Tangtang is still adapting to the life of the Children’s home. Sometimes he would throw a tantrum if the dining habit differed from his original family, or he would suddenly remember something he hasn’t done and hurry up to do it, or he would just go away to play with toys whenever he feels like to do and let the teachers look for him all over the place.
At the same time, Tangtang is also a caring loving little boy, who would share his snacks with the teacher, as well as accompany the teacher who injured her leg; With his best effort, he also made a cute snowman as a gift to his teacher when attending church activities on Christmas.
Although still not entirely familiar with his new home, things have changed a lot. When he first arrived, he was running around wild, ill-tempered, and responded to no one. Now he can sit quietly and listen to the adults talking to him. It shows the sign of gradual integration, and we are truly happy for him. Watching him regain the innocence and happiness of a child, the teachers hope that the new life in the Agape Children’s Home will help Tangtang put his old life behind him and give back the beautiful childhood he deserves.
