Empowered youth that have been part of our school of entrepreneurs have new challenges =)
Bea (19) and Isabel (20), inspiring young leaders of Manchay, are now part of Ruwasunchis team, and the are leading the project of Kids and Women, respectively. Bea, along with other 5 youth of Manchay that are volunteers, will be leading the project for 50 kids in Manchay. They will nurture creativity and self-esteem in those 50 kids, with arts, sports and creativity workshops every weekend of the year.
Isabel will have a really beautiful challenge leading the project of weavers. Isa studied Design with a scholarship that Ruwasunchis, individual donors and Chio Lecca gave to her, and she is a very talented and commited woman. The project for women will let them increase their income, and have access to nutrition and "smart eating" workshops.
We are very happy that the youth that are part of our project now assume the challenges of their communities, and they are now role models for other young women from their community and for our society in general.
