Our joint initiative to empower 1000 rape victims and widows with integrated peacebuilding skills in the North Eastern region of Nigeria has recorded some additional progress. Apart from the on-going psycho-social support and mentorship workshops that are targeting an initial 100 recipient, the tailoring program has added another 3 recipients, increasing the number of participants in the tailoring training from 15 to 18. We could not have achieved this without your generous donations!
The 27th of November 2018 is GivingTuesday and GlobalGiving will be giving out a total of $150, 000 in matching funds on that day. This means that every donation to this project on that day will automatically be matched proportionally.
All recurring donations starting on the 27th of November to 31st of December 2018 will be matched at 100 percent by GlobalGiving.
Every donation between 27th of November and 31st of December 2018 will be eligible for bonus cash prizes.
We are calling on those who have donated and all supporters of this project to help donate and spread this message to likely donors.
