THE ERP PROJECT WORK IS ON HOLD FOR THE TIME BEING
Due to imposed restrictions and in the absence of public transportation, the rural women cannot come over to the Spice and cereal processing unit at Gurugram. Though from late May 2021, in the unlocking phase, the basic elementary economic activities have been resumed with the government’s prescribed operational guidelines and protocols, making it difficult for common people as most do not have the means and access to resume their livelihood activities within the set guideline frameworks.
The project team leaders Manju, Poonam, and Mudra have been in continuous contact with their women's self-help groups with regular follow-ups and covid19 preventive information, measures, and guidelines.
We are planning and strategizing, and hopefully, all of them would resume back to work as soon as the situation normalizes and the public transportation system puts into place. Meanwhile, we are also exploring the possibilities and checking out the feasibility of providing them home-based assignments.
